Once Upon a Time in Brazil's Setting Sun

... there was a group of children with smiles on their faces. They had arrived for the school day and were going to their classrooms and had just eaten breakfast. The fact that they were given food at school was the reason they didn't stay home - to work and earn money for their families. But that day there was also another reason for coming to school; they were going to build on their projects, with a creative building set that I had brought with me to test.

It was an overwhelming and transformative experience. The children came early, continued working during recess, children with challenges flourished, they collaborated across disciplines, helped each other, and were excited to see each other's projects. Everyone was proud and happy about what they created.

I wanted to bring the joy and pride of creating something into a creative, climate-friendly and educational building set or wooden toy for you and your children - that's what WoodMee® became.

Build, Play and Learn

WoodMee® combines Danish design, creativity and beautiful craftsmanship. Since 2020 I have been creating wooden toys, that allows children to build figures and models that look amazing while developing their motor skills and creative thinking.
